HOLDEN SUPERCHARGER 6 BOOST UPGRADE! For Holden VS-VY!

Up for auction is a new supercharger boost upgrade kit which comprises of a special modular hub, 10psi pulley (other pulleys from 6 to 19psi are also available), new belt, loan of our factory pulley removal tool and installation instructions.    

With a low starting price of $295 and no reserve it’s a very cost effective way to bump up the performance of your factory supercharged 6 Commodore, by increasing boost pressure. Which is exceptional value considering the fact that the recommended retail prices of these boost upgrade kits are around $890!

Unlike some other (cheaper or more expensive!) supercharger pulley kits on the market, our pulleys are made from aircraft grade aluminum, which has been hard anodized so they won’t break or wear out like others on the market.

Also one of our key design features is that our pulleys support 8 rib belts, (which also works with the standard 6 rib belt) unlike the vast majority which only support the narrower 6 rib :( Meaning that you have the option of easily upgrading to an 8 rib belt, to eliminate any slippage that may occur at very high boost levels (above 17psi).

We also have an extensive pulley range from 6psi right through to 19psi to suit your requirements.     

This mod is an excellent cost effective way to bump up the horsepower from your late model Commodore as shown on the dyno graph below. In this case we have a VT Commodore with extractors/exhaust/cold air intake and our 10psi boost upgrade kit, making an outstanding 146.8 kw at the rear wheels. An increase of 15kw from stock, and with no tune in sight! Just goes to show how much Holden really watered down the performance of these engines… Please note that 98 octane fuel must be used when running boost levels of around 10psi on a standard engine.

Backed up by other tests, this mod is good for around 20 kw at the rear wheels for a car with similar mods as mentioned previously. Greater power gains can be achieved if further mods are undertaken such as an intercooler, larger cam, etc…

The best part about this mod is that at the very most, takes about an hour to do! Unlike others around, there is no need for removing superchargers, replacing gaskets, and spending hours and lots of $$$ to achieve our results. In addition, once our special hub is in place, changing of pulleys literally becomes a 10 minute job! Such that you can now easily swap from a 10 psi pulley for the street to a 14 psi pulley on the track, if you wanted to. It’s all quick and easy.   

Please note that the final price will incur an additional $200 as a security bond for loan of the pulley removal tool, which MUST be returned within 30 days.
