I AM A PRIVATE COLLECTOR AND THE BIKE IS SURPLUS TO REQUIREMENTS

THE BIKE IS IN STORAGE, HAS NOT BEEN RIDDEN FOR 18MONTHS OR MORE AND HAS SOME FAIRING DAMAGE DUE TO BEING KNOCKED OVER WHILST IN STORAGE. THE LAST TIME I RODE THIS BIKE IT WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE WITH AWSOME POWER AND SUPERB HANDELING EVEN BY TODAYS STANDARDS, HOWEVER THE CLUTCH WAS SLIPPING AND MAY NEED REPLACING OR ADJUSTING AT SOME POINT. I AM NOT A MECHANIC, I COLLECT BIKES FROM THE 1980's THAT WILL LOOK GOOD IN ANY COLLECTION AND OFFER THE ASTUTE BUYER AN EXCELLENT RETURN ON THEIR INVESTMENT IN THE YEARS TO COME. THESE BIKES ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND WILL ONLY INCREASE IN VALUE AND COLLECTABILITY AS THE YEARS PASS.

THE BIKE IS STRAIGHT, HAS GOOD ORIGINAL PAINT WITH SOME FAIRING DAMAGE AS PER PHOTOS DUE TO BEING KNOCKED OVER WHILST IN STORAGE.

 I BOUGHT THIS BIKE TO SIT ALONG SIDE MY CB 1100R AND TOGETHER THEY MAKE A BEAUTIFUL PAIR OF CLASSIC 80's HONDA SPORTS BIKES. 

BIKE IS NOT REGISTERED AND TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE HAS NOT BEEN REGISTERED SINCE 2001. IT IS BEING SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

From the information I have there was an Australian delivered 1984 VF 1000RE

  The 1985 VF 1000RF and the 1986 VF 1000 RG were not Australian delivered bikes and thus were given the European specifications, making this an even rarer bike to own and add to your collection. 

 The VF 1000R followed the CB 1100 RB, RC and RD and given the prices these bikes are now fetching one can only imagine what the values of the VF 1000R's will be in years to come. 

I have been asked a number of times what the reserve is, it is very reasonable and less than half the price reached by the 1984 VF 1000RE recently here on Ebay. This bike will be sold and when you consider its rarity and the values its earlier brother, the CB 1100R's are fetching you will be on a winner with this beauty.

Please note that until the reserve price has been met I reserve the right to remove this listing from Ebay for whatever reason.                 Once the reserve has been met I will let the Auction run it course.

The VF 1000R is on the market and will be sold to the highest Bidder.

Due to a number of requests, I removed the VF 1000R from storage and have just taken more pictures in a better light and am happy to email anyone that sends me their email address. (this is a damn sexy bike)  

Unfortunately I cannot add additional pictures to the  listing for some reason.

I have had offers to sell the VF 1000R and end the auction early but due to the amount of interest, this auction will determine what the bike is worth and will be sold to the highest bidder.

There are not too many of these VF 1000R's around these days, so once its gone, its gone!
