UP FOR AUCTION IS A HONDA XR 80. I THINK IT IS A 1979 - 1980 MODEL NOT EXACTLY SURE. IT IS NOT TO BAD FOR ITS AGE. THERE IS SOME SURFACE RUST ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TANK BUT THE INSIDE IS MICKEY MOUSE AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS. THE PREVIOUS OWNER INFORMED ME THAT IT DID RUN WELL SO WHEN I GOT IT I SPRAYED SOME START YA BASTARD IN THE AIR FILTER AND GAVE IT A COUPLE OF KICKS AND IT FIRED UP AND RUN ON THE START YA BASTARD NO PROBLEMS. SO I WOULD SAY A GOOD CARBY CLEAN AND KIT AND IT WOULD BE A GOOD RUNNER IT WILL NEED A NEW CLUTCH CABLE AND LEVER AND NEW ACCELERATOR CABLE AND THE FRONT BRAKES CLEANED AND ADJUSTED. THESE WERE A GOOD SOLID LOW MAINTENANCE BIKE IN THEIR DAY AND THIS ONE WOULD BE GOOD TO PUT THE EFFORT INTO AS THEY ARE BECOMING QUITE COLLECTABLE AND SORT AFTER. INSPECTION OF THIS BIKE IS WELCOMED IS ADVISED. PLEASE GIVE ME A CALL ON 0438 112 586. DUE TO SIZE BUYER TO ARRANGE OWN PICK UP OR COURIER.
