                            HORSE TRAPPING, AZERBAIJAN CAUCASUS

This interesting piece was made to be worn over the horse's head to discourage flies and to decorate the animal.

A Major feature of interest is the collection of old fabrics used to decorate the joins on the braided hangings.

It measures 22inches (56cm) across the top and the dangles hang approximately 15 or 16 inches (40cm).

Condition is quite good but the top is worn.
