Signature 540F, brand new Suzuki 140 hp 4-stroke (2009 model). This is one of the classics – one of John Haines’ best designs. The 540F has the best ride in its class along with excellent stability.  The boat is big enough to fish wide offshore, yet small enough to be towed on a single axle trailer behind a family car.

This 540F is a 2007 model that has been stored since new. It has never been in the water. I have just fitted a brand new 2009 Suzuki 140 hp 4-stroke that I haven’t even started yet. The package rides on an (as new) Dunbier single axle multi-roller braked trailer.

Features include a bimini with front and side clears, full storm cover, 100L underfloor fuel tank, cloth berth cushions, upholstered side pockets, folding rear lounge, bilge pump, plumbed live bait tank, ski hooks, clip-in cockpit carpet, navigation and cockpit lights, four stainless steel rod holders and stainless bow rails. The boat is currently stored safely inside my garage in pristine condition, awaiting its new owner.

I rigged this boat up in mid September with the intention of using it this summer – but unfortunately my circumstances have changed and the boat has to go. This package is as good as new (it still has the plastic wrap on the cabin side pockets!) but I am selling for about $10,000 below the new boat package cost.
