Clearing out some of my archery gear.
On offer is a hand made, one-off, solid saddle-grade leather archery quiver, with brass and silver fittings and fastenings, and hand-tooled leather. The quiver has a heavy leather belt with a solid brass buckle, keeper and tip, which is removable from the quiver. The quiver is 43cm deep, with two heavy plastic internal tubes, and can take about 8-12 arrows, depending on shaft diameter. The quiver hangs quite low on the hip, and is 40 odd cm from the hip pouch top to the quiver bottom.
The quiver has a large brass buckled side pouch on the hip area for whatever - score card, spare string, fletches, point, binos etc, maybe even a water bottle and a sandwich! The quiver is sewn and hand-laced, and well used, as the leather is soft and pliable. There are a few scuff marks here and there which do not detract in any way from the quiver. There are two heavy metal 'D's for attaching a cleaning cloth or whatever. One on the quiver, one on the pouch side.
This is a practical, durable, handsome one-of-a-kind quiver, made by me for my son, and unique in the true sense of the word. It was designed for field/target archery use, and would probably not suit as a hunting quiver. With care, it will give many years hard service, and only needs an occasional rub with a good leather dressing.
At the range, it attracts a lot of interest and admiring comment.
