This charming set of framed, black on white hand prints by H Sperring, depict three of Brisbane's Historic Buildings.

Each Measuring 230mm X 200mm, they provide a great memory of Brisbane's old architecture dating back as far as 1829.

On the back of each picture there is a history of each building, noting in brief:-

THE WINDMILL - Built in 1829 to grind corn for the prisoners hominy  . . . . . . . .

PARLIAMENT HOUSE - Foundation Stone laid in 1865, 40 years after the first settlers arrived . . . . . .

THE BELLEVUE HOTEL - Built in the early 1870's for the "families of gentlemen" . . . . . . . .
