This listing is for a beautiful hand tatted bookmark. I have tatted this bookmark using pastel colored size 10 crochet thread and added a pink ribbon to the back. The pastel colors in the thread are pink, blue, yellow, purple and green. This bookmark measures 10 inches from tip to tip of the pink ribbon and is 2 inches wide. I have glued the tatting to the ribbon and fray checked the edges of the ribbon to keep them from fraying and looking ratty.

Tatting is the ancient art of lace making that is once again gaining in popularity. Tatting can be done on a shuttle or a needle. My items are made with needles of different sizes. The different sized needles determine the size of the finished lace product. This book mark has been made by me with a size 5 needle.

I am also enclosing an official pink breast cancer awareness bracelet as a bonus. The bracelet says endcancer.ca on the front and I am the end on the other. There are also two maple leafs on the wristband. I purchased these wristbands directly from the official website printed on the wristband and am pleased to add it as a bonus to your purchase of my bookmark. This is the Canadian cancer awareness elastic wristband.

My husband and I both lost our mothers to cancer. I wanted to show my support to them and the many others fighting this dreadful disease. They were both courageous, beautiful and strong women cut down far too early.
