Under clause 13 “Claim form” in Australia post terms and conditions of insurance, Who can claim, “13.1.1” states subject to clause 13.2 that if the article in relation to which the Service applies has been delivered, only the addressee may claim under the service If you, the buyer do choose to insure your purchases with Australia Post. The claim is subject to Australia post terms and conditions and they may or may not pay this at their own discretion. We will not refund or exchange any items or amounts that Australia post do not pay a claim for. This is out of our control.As a buyer you are responsible to make a claim with Australia post yourself under clause 13.1.1. And this involves returning the article to them, with the packaging within 6 months under clause 12.1. If the original article is faulty or “not as described” we will exchange this within 7days from the date of delivery, however is the item in question has been damaged we cannot exchange it because it may be damaged beyond repair (within 7 days). This claim must be lodged with Australia Post. Exchanges must be made within 7days and all expenses of delivery and return freight are payable by the BUYER.
