About marquetry

Marquetry is. to cut pieces of different materials are used (stones, marble, wood, metals…), that is fitted in a support until making the decorative design. It is a work of incrustation. Between pieces and others there is a resistance effect that depends on the color and the characteristic of the used material. The base is done with wood of Walnut, is covered with thousand of different material like Nacre ,Wood of Rosal , Wood of Olivo ,Wood of Lemon tree , Wood of Pine and Mother of pearl …and each piece is hand cut and glued with professionalism . Once shaped the drawing in the support, empty slightly, leaving a hollow where the marquetry will become engraved; later it is smoothed and the set yields and varnish so that the surface is strickles
