An Egyptian rug that is hand made. It is 53" by 80" and weighs about 10 pounds. This was described as an Egyptian rug at an estate auction. I have no reason to doubt that but I have not been able to prove it. It is used. There are some loose threads and some imperfections. There are a few areas of light soiling that I have not tried to remove. I don't think that it would take much effort to clean the few areas. The colors include: white, candy apple red, black, yellow, turquoise, and tan. If you are looking for a rug that is very colorful, this may be it! I would think that this rug could also be used as home decor as a wall hanging. The string ties along the edges are spaced about 2" apart and are each about 4-5". If you have any questions, I will try to do my best at answering them.
