100 percent of the
blade is hand forged and made of folded steel + high carbon AISI 1060
steel. The blade is forged through Sanmai
forging method. It has been water quenched and hand polished. It has a O-choji
hamon line. The blade is battle ready and capable of bamboo cutting. It is
suitable for kendo or iaido trainning. A very high value and collectable item.

The middle red
part of the blade is high carbon AISI 1060 steel.
2 blue layers
divided laminated on the 2 sides are folded steel. The folded steel consists
of iron + AISI 1045 steel and mix fold forged again and again
creating 8192 layers. High carbon steel in the middle in order to get a sturdy
edge. It reaches the cutting standard. 2 blue layer folded steel keeps the
blade's flexibility.

not tempered line and we call it Sanmai Line. The Sanmai Line is generated by
high carbon steel and folded steel mix forging processing. Sanmai Line is high
carbon steel and folded steel dividing line. The part of the blade under the
Samai Line is carbon steel and above part is folded steel.
