This is a beautiful handwoven textile originating in Laos. It measures 40cm wide and 180cm long and is made from a combination of silk and rayon. The background colour on this piece is black and is has gold, orange, red and an olive green woven through it creating a stunning overall effect. This piece is created on a hand loom and as such there are sometimes small inconsistencies running through it but this is the nature of the piece.
