This movie stars Robert Powell, David Hemmings, Carmen Duncan with Broderick Crawford. It was made in 1982 and has a running time of 99 minutes (approx).

"In the Tradition of Rosemary's Baby and The Omen, Harlequin. A macabre tale of the struggle for power and control over the unknown.

A Hypnotic faith healer Wolf 'The Harlequin' (Powell) saves the life of the son of an influential politician. Both the politician (Hemmings) and his wife (Duncan) fall prey to the Harlequins's powers of manipulation. As the chief political adviser (Crawford) attempts to remove the Harlequin from his position of power, he is confronted with unnatural powers that climax in unbelievable terror and tension."

Reminds me of the story of Rasputin in Russia.
