Heathkit SB-200 Amplifier

OK, this should be an interesting auction!  I am going to start it at 1 penny!

This auction is for one used Heathkit SB-200 Amplifier in fixer-upper condition.  The amp needs work before becoming operational.  I have no idea if it is working or not because some blockhead cut off the power cord.   I can say this...it appears to be all there--tubes, heavy transformer, output network, etc.  Probably needs new electrolytic capacitors.  I don't know if the tubes are any good, but it does have two 572Bs and they look OK.  So, here is the deal...this is an AS IS sale.  You are buying this amplifier with the knowledge that it needs repair, so there are no returns.  BUT you can get it for a STEAL!  I have full confidence that a good ham with more time than I have can return this legendary amp back to full operational condition.  It just needs some attention.  Feel free to ask any questions.

Wow...just a new note on Tuesday....this is amazing.  I see on my ebay that there are 104 people currently watching this auction.  Lot's of interest!  So, be sure to get your bid in.

Just a note to all bidders:

1.  There is no reserve price--the amp will go to the highest bidder.  Right now there are 146 "watchers" on ebay, so there is obviously a lot of interest.  Adjust your bid accordingly.

2.  Several people have asked about shipping rates.  The amp is 35 pounds without packaging.  I estimate 40 pounds packaged, in an 18X18X16 box.  Tubes will be packaged in the RF section, amp well packaged.  You can calculate the shipping if you don't believe the calculator on ebay.  I will add $10 on top of the actual shipping cost for packaging and hauling the box over to the Fedex office.
