Converts between the two most popular video standards, NTSC 3.58 and PAL 4.43. Full digital processing for perfect recording and playback with Mini-DV (Y/C & Composite only) - SVHS - VHS - Hi8 & 8mm equipment. S-Video inputs and outputs the higher picture quality of S-Video is retained. A digital comb-filter converts Composite video input to Y/C for internal processing. S-Video and Composite outputs are present at all times. An automatic gain control (AGC) keeps the output level normal even if the input level is high or low Offers fantastic resolution. When set for PAL to PAL is a very effective Timebase Corrector. Can also be used as a TBC in NTSC to NTSC mode. Conversion process is fully automatic.
