Holden HG Coupe Ute

For Sale is a HG Holden Ute.

We brought the about 12 months ago, I am selling it due to having to many projects so it is time to clean up. Our son was going to restore it as his first project and car but has since decided that wants a Commodore ute or 4 wheel drive ute which i why I am now selling it, this car would suit anyone from the first time project right through to the seasoned collector o project junky. 

Just to make it very clear it is in need of work it is not a quick RWC and Reg job depending on your own ability and what you plan to do with it, you do actually need to do some work first.  I had to change the radiator over with one I had refubished for another car.  

The car is in good condition, it is unregistered a would need to be roadworthyed. We have done nothing to the car all mods were done by the last owner my wife drove it until the rego ran out so it is sold as is no reg or RWC. The body is is good condition for its age and one that has not been restored it has very small amounts of rust tha i have been able to find however it dose have some bog in it but it looks worse than it is, the interior hs been redone sometime ago by the looks it is in white with black carpet, all of the dash instruments and lights work the glovebox is missing its inside (not hard to find plenty of after market parts), the seats fold forward. It has a 186 dual fuel (gas tank is out of date but dose work), is running a 4 speed Commodore gearbox (do not know which model), engine has some minor oil leaks (rocker gasket and alike none of which hits the ground), front tyres are ok, rear tyres very good, brakes are all good, clutch is good, steering is standard (old hoden pre power assist), the last owner moved the petrol filler into the floor of the tray, gas filler is also hidden in the inside rear corner of the tray, the tray floor is checker plate, the rear suspension has been lowered using lowering blocks (easy to remove).

This really is one of those what you see is what you get cars, I will sell the car but I am not going to give it away if it dose not sell here I will advertise it in some mag's, if it dozen't sell there I will just put it into a container until i get some of the other projects finished. No time wasters, payments are strictly no PAYPAL, bank deposit  money order I will accept a cheque but wll not han the car over until it has cleared. The car is located 1 hour north of Melbourne I may be able to bring to the Western suburbs but would have to be collected on that day as I would have to borrow car and trailer and take to work with me in Altona. I would prefer it was collected on a weekend from home (Broadford area).
