Its a Honda CT90 1978 Trail Bike. Here is the story, I picked it up from a Local farm where it was purchased new and rode till it stopped. I don't know what stopped it, I'm not overly mechanical sorry. What I did discover was a blown bearing on the top of the Triptonic Gear mechanism. I spoke to a Parts shop and he said you can order individual bits like the bearings, direct from Honda if you wanted to. I was hopeful to restore it but have simply run of time and effort. The Bike itself is 90% complete and a friend sourced me a box of parts off a similar model so for the restoring type person you might have a lot of fun with this bike. I bought a NEW BATTERY for it to see if I could get it to turn over but I was stumped when it came to the wiring and couldn't get a spark. The motor does have good compression when you kick it over, and there was no strange fluids in the oil so gaskets look to be in order. There is too many details to list them all, but basically some parts a shot other are fine. Most of the chrome parts are in good order, the seat is original and only has a small tear in it, fuel tank had pretty much no rust or gunk in it. Tyres and exhaust are dead, wiring needs work and unsure if the headlight and instruments work in the parts box. If you want a project or parts you might get either very cheap but it all needs to go thanks for looking call 0429 861996 if you want to chat. Pick up only, happy Bidding!!!
