Honda XR400 2002, very low km's, Outstanding XR 400 R

Up for regrettable sale due to health reasons is my immaculate 2002 XR400.

1 previous owner, first owner was an older guy who did 4,500 very easy kms of bitumen use only, even had a sheepskin seat cover on it so the seat is mint!

Since then the bike has had some tasteful and practical improvements, and has only seen light dirt use. Has never been thrashed or neglected, always shedded and covered, kept fastidously maintained.
As can be seen, the bike is in outstanding condition cosmetically, with only a couple very small nicks in the tank sticker. All factory Honda stickers are in place and in fantastic condition, no scratches or dings in the wheels, immaculate plastics and seat, the exhaust headers still have their factory anodised look, the toolbag is absolutely mint, even the casings have only the lightest of boot scuff. Includes factory Owners Manual and Warranty Booklet, sold new by Honda World on South Road.

Mechanically the bike rides and feels like a new one and will not dissapoint - no issues whatsoever.

Super versatile, looks and sounds great, legendary XR 400 bullet proof reliability. Significantly less maintenance than many bikes with batteries, electric start and radiators. Only difference between these and the last (2005) models is the tank stickers, and the 2002 models recieved a stronger second gear than all previous models.

Features:
*  New X-Ring chain and sprockets only 200 kms old, rear is two teeth smaller so it will sit on 110km/h all day comfortably and is very economical. Still have the original chain and sprockets which are in excellent condition (only changed to improve gearing), which are testament to how this bike has been treated.
*  Original brake pads barely worn and working brilliantly.
*  EGO Barkbusters in new condition .
*  Ballards Bashplate
*  Ballards Exhust baffle - gives a much nicer note than the factory baffle with removed silencer, and improves throttle response quite significantly. Looks sweet too
*  Smaller indicators which are super bright, comes with 3 spares as one wobbled off so i had to buy another set!
*  Original tyres replaced last year with Michelin Cross AC10's, tread is approx 80% front, 50% rear
*  Fresh Belray Thumper oil and genuine Honda filter only 150kms old.

Inspection is welcomed and recommended - this bike is outstanding and will not dissapoiont.
