You are bidding on a coin from Hong Kong dated 1951 in very good condition.  The face value of this coin is fifty cents displaying the image of King George the Sixth.

Recently we moved from a house we had been living in for over 35 years.  While packing we found a bag of coins and currency from around the world dated from 1912 to 1969.  It could have belonged to our father who had passed on many years ago but we will never know for sure.  Keep watch I will be posting each coin as they are identified.  There were over 1000 coins and 100 banknotes.  I was told the banknotes are rare including Ceylon notes in perfect uncirculated condition and in running numbers of 5 each.
