About the DVD.............................................

Clicker 101 is the first in a series of training DVD's on how to help you start your horse with the clicker. Clicker training is a positive reinforcement method of communicating with your horse. It can be used in conjunction with any legitimate training program. We mark a "yes" signal with the clicker, which tells your horse that the behaviour he just performed was correct. Clicker training eliminates confusion and frustration for you and for your horse and makes learning and training more concise. Clicker trained horses are keen and eager and owners of clicker trained horses develop a wonderful relationship with their horses.

In this first DVD we introduce you to how to start with the clicker, by listening in on clicker training lessons with new and clicker savvy horses. In this DVD  we move onto teaching the horse to touch targets (foundation for spook control), head down (foundation for emotional control) and building in duration, getting your horses attention, following your lead and you will also see a way of introducing scary objects to your horses using the clicker.
