3.     In eBay checkout, just tell me your choices in the ‘Notes to Seller’ Section

And before you know it, your seeds are on their way (with some freebies)!!

Easy, hey?

Here’s the choices:

Bhut Jolokia:

(Capsicum Chinense)

‘Australia’s New Favourite Hot-Pod!!’

Rare, and insanely hot!!

Originally sourced from Assam State, Northern India, and grown by myself.

Guinness World Record holder as the world's hottest chilli weighing in at 1,041,427 Scovile Heat Units!!

The previous World Record Holder, the 'Red Savina Habanero', is a meagre 577,000 SHU by comparison!!

NOTE:

Many sellers claim the Bhut Jolokia is the same plant as the Naga Jolokia/Naga Morich... However this is not the case! They are similar, yet different varietals from the same family of chillis; ie. Capsicum Chinense.

Orange Habanero Chilli.

(Capsicum Chinense)

‘Beastly hot and bloody tasty!’

The Orange Habanero is well known for both its fruity flavour and higher heat levels. This contender for one of the hottest Chillies in the world is not to be trifled with!

A great addition to nearly any meal, The Orange Habanero is a gem!

Happy and healthy plants will produce high volumes of fruit in hotter months.

Chocolate Habanero Chilli:

(Capsicum Frutescens)

Beastly hot, fruity and bloody tasty!’

Similar to its cousin- the Orange Habanero in both its fruity flavour and heat levels, this contender for one of the hottest Chillies in the world is not to be trifled with!

Happy and healthy plants will produce high volumes of fruit in hotter months.

Red Habanero Chilli:

(Capsicum Chinense)

‘Beastly hot and bloody tasty!’

Similar to its cousin- the Orange Habanero in both its fruity flavour and heat levels, this contender for one of the hottest Chillies in the world is not to be trifled with!

Happy and healthy plants will produce high volumes of fruit in hotter months.

White Habanero Chilli.

(Capsicum Chinense)

Beastly hot and bloody tasty!’

A native of Peru, this rare, white chilli is a seriously hot Habanero- Weighing in at a whopping 420,000SHU!! Being Capsicum Chinense, the White Habanero is easy to grow. Pods grow to be about 2cm long and are white in colour.

A true gem for the ornamental grower, and a force unto itself!

This contender for one of the hottest Chillies in the world is not to be trifled with!

The small, 2cm long lantern shaped pods grow prolifically on quite large, bushy plants.

Fatalii Chilli.

(Capsicum Chinense)

‘Vibrant Gold, hot and bloody tasty!’

Similar to its cousin, ‘The Fatalii’ is a close relative of the Habanero from Central Africa.

Chillies are little wedge-shaped and of a gorgeous golden colour. The tapering fruit will impart a rich citrusy flavour into food.

These are seriously hot chillies- weighing in at around 350,000SHU. This chilli is a serious contender for one of the hottest Chillies around! Do not trifle with the Fatalii!

Happy and healthy plants will produce high volumes of fruit in hotter months.

Royal Black Chilli

(Capsicum Annuum)

‘Ideal for the hobbyist’

The 'Royal Black' is ideal for the ornamental grower after something... A bit different.

For culinary use, the small red fruits make a convincing and long lasting impression on the palate.

Foliage and stems are almost black with occasional variegated growing tips of green, or creamy white. The undersides of the leaves are green with purple venation.

The upright growing, bullet-shaped fruits measure, when ripened, just over 1cm wide by 2.5cm long.

Not strictly ideal for pot growing, however it can be done. I recommend growing in a well drained, well fertilised garden bed, in full sun.

Happy and healthy plants will produce high volumes of fruit in hotter months.

Tabasco Chilli.

(Capsicum Annuum)

‘Make your very own hot sauce!!’

The Tabasco variety of Chilli plants grow to be extremely tall. The Tabasco prefers to grow in a well-drained soil bed exposed to full sun.

You certainly will not be disappointed with yield as they’re prolific producers of little vertical pods with the distinctive ‘Tabasco’ flavour.

The Tabasco is originally from Mexico, however its rise to fame was through McIlhenny Company, Louisiana, USA, through its use in the World famous Tabasco hot sauce.

Not too intense heatwise, but well noted for its incredible flavour.

Happy and healthy plants will produce high volumes of fruit in hotter months.

Thai Birdseye Chilli:

(Capsicum Frutescens)

‘Asia’s finest!’

A delightful variety for the ornamental grower.

Great for curries, and Asian cookery.

Happy and healthy plants will produce high volumes of vertically standing fruit in hotter months, beginning at green, then ripening through to red.

Mushroom (Red) Chilli:

(Capsicum Annuum)

‘A truly special and unique chilli!!’

These unusual chillies are truly special and flavoursome!

When ripe, these mushroom shaped chillies turn a bright vibrant red and end up being approx 5cm diameter in size.

Commonly mistaken for the Red ‘Scotch Bonnet’.

A medium-hot and fruity chilli, indeed a great addition to any pot... That is... For the not-so-faint hearted.

Happy, healthy plants will produce high volumes of these tasty treats.

Fluorescent (Red) Chilli:

(Capsicum Annuum)

‘A true beauty- Plantae’s eye candy’

A beautiful and unique plant which is a stunning addition to any garden.

The foliage on this plant is truly wondrous. The leaves are a sensational fluorescent purple and white surrounded by an abundance of little hot chillies which turn from green, to purple, then to red when ripe.

This chilli is highly recommended for budding gardeners who are just starting out in their growing adventure.

The ‘Fluorescent Red’ has it all.

It’s easy to germinate;

Easy to transplant;

And all-round, easy to grow.

It’s such a sensational ornamental, even if you don't eat chilli.

Fluorescent Aurora Chilli.

(Capsicum Annuum)

‘Ideal for the windowsill- Profound ornamental!’

The Aurora Purple is a dwarf variety of chilli ideal for pot growth on a sunny windowsill, or patio.

Aurora has amazing ornamental qualities with bushy, purple-tinged foliage and a profusion of 4cm long conical pods. The Aurora produces an abundance of multi-coloured fruits ranging from purple and lavender to orange and red- a true treat on your eyes.

Aurora chillies are amongst the easiest to grow and the first to fruit. So brown-thumbs? Fear not!!

Happy and healthy plants will produce high volumes of fruit in hotter months.

Hot Lemon Chilli:

(Capsicum Baccatum)

A truly special and unique chilli!!’

These amazing chillies are truly one of a kind!

The ‘Hot Lemon’ produces an abundance of 5cm long tapering chillies which ripen to a bright, almost reflective yellow!

Strange, it would seem, the name of this varietal doesn’t come from the fruit’s colour! It comes from the wonderful citrus-esque aroma and flavour.

Scotch Bonnet (Red) Chilli:

(Capsicum Chinense)

‘One of the Most Feared Chillies Around’

From the same family of chillies as the Habanero, this chilli is extremely hot- weighing in at approximately 100,000-350,000 SHU.

Although similar in appearance to its cousin, the Scotch Bonnet is set aside by its dramatic difference in flavour.

Originally from the Caribbean Islands, the Scotch Bonnet is a favourite in traditional cooking from the Island nations.

Happy and healthy plants will produce high volumes of fruit in hotter months.

Each seed pack includes 10 seeds (plus extra- of course), totalling 40+ seeds. (Not to mention the freebies...)

All seeds are from 2009 yield; they're viable, and ready to grow!

Grown exclusively of other Chillies to prevent cross-pollination;

A necessary factor in maintaining the plants genetic integrity.

WARNING:

They’ve all got their fearsome reputation for a reason!

Please, please, please:

·         Do not handle if at all allergic or even sensitive to capsaicin.

·         Wear protective gloves for handling any chilli (this includes seeds!!).

·         Keep away from children and pets.

·         Warn anyone eating food containing this chilli.

·         Thoroughly wash hands after handling. Good rule of thumb is – lick your thumb! If it still burns? Wash again!

Not sure which Chilli’s which?
