Howarth Of London S20C Oboe.

Built in 1984

Good condition, serviced 18 months ago and well looked after.

Great piece of wood with an excellent tone.

Suit student up to grade 8.

Silver plating is not worn through or flaking anywhere.

Original case is worn and handle cracked as can be seen but has character so have not renewed it.

Howarth have advised that this model is worth between 1200 and 1300 pounds or $2100 to $2400 AUD in good condition and it is rare to find a used one. I cannot locate another one for comparison.

New S20Cs are around $4000 AUD and now include a left hand "f" and third octave keys, the earlier models including this one did not.

International postage is between $50 and $100, will let winning bidder know exact cost before checkout.
