Description
Hoya presents an innovative high definition CPL filter. This filter, with its hardened optical glass,
that has 4 times the breaking strength in ANSI standardized testing (ANSI Z80.3 : 2001) where a steel balls of varying size and weight were dropped from a height of 50 inches onto the glass.
The polarizing film is the same as that used in the latest high definition LCD TV screens. It has 25% higher light transmission than standard polarizing film used in current photographic filters.
Specialized coatings that are not just water-proof to repel water spots but also hardened to be scratch and stain resistant. Of course these coatings are from HOYA so they are greatly reduce reflections off the surface of the glass allowing you to capture more light in your photos.
Light rays which are reflected by any surface can become polarized so polarizing
filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. CIRCULAR PL filters allow you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc. They also enable colors to become more saturated and appear clearer with better contrast. This effect is often used to increase the contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. HOYA's polarising filters do not affect the overall color balance of a shot. Using the CIRCULAR PL filter, reflections and glare can be reduced significantly from non-metallic surfaces. A camera angle of 30 degrees from the reflecting surface (glass, water, etc.) is ideal for maximum effect. Digital camera CCD or CMOS sensors are highly susceptible to reflections - this stray light can ruin your photographs! Don't risk your valuable photos by using bare-glass filters. Now try a HOYA

We provide 1-year warranty for all our selling items, except filters and accessories (e.g. remote controllers, cords and cables, batteries, etc.) which only valid for 90-day. As common, our warranty covers only manufacturer defects. Items that need service must be returned to
us and you are responsible for the return postage and insurance. For the outbound, we will take care of it. Please contact us before sending items back.
We do recommend our customers to note this factor while making a purchase since we have no control whether the customs would ask for the import duty and tax. However, we will do our best to minimize your exposure to these. Most of the cases, our customers pay no
tax or very little. In case, your item is chosen for random check, please do contact us and we
will assist you on the customs clearance.
You are able to return for an exchange if you found the item is a manufacturer defect within 7 days of delivery.
