"VINTAGE RETRO!"

This is a marvelous vintage retro floor vase from West Germany, probably made by Scheurich or similar. It is very large, measuring approximately 36 cm tall, and 20 cm in diameter, and is backstamped, "407 35". The vase has a wonderful lava type glaze in shades of blue-grey and green, and has been decorated with lines in matt mauve-grey, and gorgeous glossy medallions of bright red, green, black, white and aquamarine. The interior has been fully glazed in glossy black. The vase does have some chips to the foot rim, underneath the base (see pictures), although these do not show when it is standing. Otherwise the vase is in perfect condition.
