The Icom-IC-R8500 is a powerhouse of a receiver, and this is an excellent example of this 'Do-it-all' receiver which is close to new. It's in mint condition with no marks on cabinet and looks like new with very low usage. This receiver has superb sensitivity over entire range and built in high quality crystal (TCXO). Provides good frequency stability. The crystal is the reference for the PLL and DDS circuits to achieve those specifications. 1000 memory, versatile scanning function, and a lot of additional outstanding features.

Frequency range 100kHz-1999.99999, modes AM,FM,WFM,USB,LSB,CW,RITTY.

It comes with original packing box, power adapter 13.8 V DC, instruction and service manual, original sales brochure, carrying handle, ICOM SP-21 external speaker, ICOM CT-17 communication interface, level converter, and near new GME 4 amp peak regulated DC power supply worth over $200.

So there you have it, an awesome specced receiver with excellent performance. This is the only receiver-scanner you will ever need!

 Q: Would you consider a swap for an AOR 7030 receiver in excellent condition ,with extra 500Hz and 3.8KHz filters fitted, as well as the notch filter/noise blanker board, and upgraded CPU?
