This range runs from 4 x aa batteries (which are included), but can also be run permanently from a 6V 300ma plugpack style supply (optional, but inexpensive and easily obtainable. I may even have some listed). You could even use a voltage converter (like the one I sell in the MP3 converter pack) to run them in a motor vehicle.
