 IRIS FOLDING CUT OUTS!!SO MUCH FUN!!  

These are sold with 5 per package, with pattern and instructions.

     The awareness ribbon and its rainbow of colors has become a symbol of support and compassion for many things, including Support Our Troops (yellow), AIDS Awareness (red), Diabetes Awareness (gray), Breast Cancer (pink), etc. This package of 5 cutouts ( plus pattern) uses a simple layering technique and can be made in any color. The cutout is approximately 1 1/2" wide and 3" tall. The overall panel is 3 1/2" x 4 1/2".

The "cutout" or aperture card is the basis for all Iris Folding and other creative folding projects.
This type of folding originated in Holland.
Picture shows an example of a finished Cut out as an example of what you can do with papers like I have in my store under cardmaking!

I was able to teach myself this great craft and now use these in my scrapbooks along with making cards!!
