Icom IC-W32A in NEW Condition

Please note that due to my racing calendar I will not be able to answer any emails from Friday 6^th to Sunday 8th, I finished my series as Regional Champion in 2 regions and 3^rd in the grand nationals, thank you to all of you who have followed my Racing Progress and of course my sponsors.

I am pleased to have availble this brand new, unused Icom IC-W32A hand held transceiver.

This came from a shack clearance we did last week in WV, found in a locked cabinet.

as yuo can see it is complete and it is easy to see it has never been used.

I did charge up the nicad to full capacity and left it on RX for 19 hours before it needed charging again and that was on an active frequency.

The Icom W32A dual bander has impressive alphanumeric and memory display. Independent tuning knobs and backlit display and keypad are also featured. The transceiver's two dials are used for independent tuning of the VHF and UHF band. This conveniently allows independent adjustment of either band. With ICOM's exchange function you can assign VHF/UHF tuning and volume to either knob as you prefer. And of course the frequency display will sync with this function. Independent main and sub bands allow you to receive both VHF and UHF simultaneously; or use the V/V and U/U functions for receiving two frequencies on the same band. Moreover, either operating band can be used in transmit regardless of whether it appears in the proper display or not. Full crossband duplex is supported.

You get 100 channels for each band (200 total). Each channel can be assigned a name of up to 8 alpha characters from the keypad for easy recognition. Alpha tagging is also available for DTMF memory channels. You also get programmed, full and memory skip scanning. Other features include: impressive audio, 50 frequency PL encode, decode, backlit LCD, auto power off and two power levels.
