This is the lens you need for 2K shooting on a RED ONE or on a 2/3 inch sensor, like the upcoming RED SCARLET (check red.com on the 31st for update on their release schedule). This is a modern lens with a smooth flowing iris and focus with zero 'play' in the gears. Performance-wise it is comparable to the Zeiss Superspeeds - you can cut between them fairly seamlessly. This is a reluctant sale due to high production costs on a recent project.
Some highlights:
_ Wide in 2K (and covers 2.5K as well)
_ Very sharp modern lens
_ Footage scales on both sides of the lens
_ Super fast @ T1.3 (f1.2)
_ 10 iris blades
_ Multi-coated
_ Stainless Arri bayonet mount (easily converted to PL for $400 - see top link for prices of lens mounts)
_ Smooth Geared focus and Iris rings
_ 80mm lens front
_ Front and rear caps
_ Color will match well with Zeiss lenses
It is in perfect condition.

This optical excellence is not something you can attain in stills lenses without spending a considerable amount of money, and even then the focus and iris will not be cinematography-ready, i.e. no follow focus and iris gear teeth, no de-clicked iris, no standard lens front diameter for your mattebox.
As you can see from the top link, the 8mm lens costs $3900 USD (equivalent Zeiss lenses are roughly twice as much). I am offering approximately $2900 USD in AUD, and will consider a best offer.
