Mathew Sallur, Colin Kleyweg and Rebecca Webster relocated from Perth in 1997 after a successful beginning, highlighted by live performances with Bjork, and appearances at the Big Day Out and the 1997 WAMI Awards. Since crossing the Nullabor inertia have signed a publishing deal with Shock Music Publishing and have had numerous tracks included on films and cd compilations including Warner’s “A Higher Sound”, Clan Analogue’s “Cognition”, Pacifica Records “Totalled Beats” and “The Big Night Out” video and cd. Inertia’s live performances are creating plenty of enthusiasm, with the band’s driving intensity a standout feature.
