this is an interesting item, in its original box, never been touched even.
other than by myself in order to check, whetherit works- and it does.
well, although marketed und the smith brand, it was made in w-Germany, presumably by "kienzle".
it times anything from 1/5th of a minute to 120min (2h) and then gives a warning ring.
it is operating on clockwork/springs, no batteries and dimensions are 10x10x5 cm.
the clockface is plex-glas and visible at a good distance, it has a stable stand to rest on.
housing is of pressed alloy, back with mechanism chromed steal.
you won't buy anything remotely like that today and it will even give a super-modern kitchen
that bit of stylish look, due to its unique and already modern design.
