Zone 2 : Electrostatic percipitation (Plasma technology)

Airborne particles enter the Ionmax Silent Ionic UV Air Purifier containing sets of electrodes in the form of parallel plates on the stainless steel collection grid. The plates serve as grounded electrodes that act as particle collectors.

Discharge electrodes, within but insulated electrically from the rest of the unit, are charged with high direct current. Our proprietary electrical circuit design produces direct current in which the current flows in one direction. (Your house uses alternating current in which the current moves back and forth.) The electrical charge ionizes (charges) the suspended particles; causing them to move toward the collecting electrodes the way cat hair is attracted to a sweater.
