Isuzu 117 Coupe 1968 Met Green Ebbro 1:43 #43620

This is a rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43620.

Isuzu is one of the oldest companies in the Japanese auto industry, tracing its roots back to 1916 and the production of commercial vehicles by the Tokyo Gas and Electrical Industry Company. There were various mergers and in 1949 Isuzu Motors Limited was incorporated. The first Izusu cars were Hillmans built under licence in 1953, followed by the Bellel and Bellett in the early sixties. In the late sixties the larger Florian was introduced, and Izusu then brought out the 117 Coupe, styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro and based on the Florian's mechanicals. It featured a twin cam four cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection.

This model features accurate wheels with proper profile tyres and plated hubcaps, and a nicely modelled body finished in authentic metallic green that captures the shape and stance of the original car perfectly. Other features include finely moulded window frames, photo etched windscreen wipers, external rear view mirrors, plated bumpers and all correct external badges.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel and column switches, detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, rear view mirror, centre console with gearshift lever and handbrake, detailed door trims with all correct handles, window winders and armrests plus proper contoured and coloured seats.

All are limited editions, this item being one of only 3000 pieces originally produced for worldwide distribution. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging.
