Beautiful & exquisite vintage Victorian Bust of a lady wearing a plumed hat.Piece is made of  Marble and Alabaster bonded together.It's a classic Figurine of a Lady on a solid Marble plinth base. Made in Italy has original sticker on base.Signed by A.Giannelli (Arnaldo Giannelli...Famous Italian Master Sculptor).The Marble and Alabaster compound is from the famous Carrara Quarry in Italys Northern region.This Figurine/Bust will enhance any Art Nouveau or Victorian influenced De`cor.The detail is exquisite and outstanding.She does have a small chip on the rim of her hat,which only happened yesterday when she was lifted out of the cabinet she has been residing in for the last 10 years or so.I have photographed this for you to see( hi-lighted by the black V pointer).This influences the low asking price as she is perfect apart from the damage chip to her hat.This doesn't detract from her obvious beauty,and is actually more noticeable in the photo than in reality.Circa 1980.She stands at 27cms tall,and is in excellent condition for her age.She is very heavy,(about a kilo or so).Pick up is available from the Gold Coast Hinterland.I am not responsible for any breakages which occur with Australia Post.I DO ensure that any items I sell are very well packed with Bubblewrap and in a box.My postage does include insurance,this costs $2.90 and covers up to and including $100 of Insurance.Any additional insurance cover is an extra $1.20,(this is Australia Posts charges not mine).This covers Australian residents only.International postage is higher and you will need to contact me to obtain a quote.Thankyou for looking.I was asked a question by an ebayer about the marble of the bust.I didn't honestly know the answer.I researched  the figurine/bust and have the following information.The piece is by A.Giannelli,produced by the factory EGREGIA in Volterro,Italy.Famous for its Alabaster manufacture.The pieces that the factory have produced for over 70 years...and still produce ,are made of Alabaster and Marble powder and resin.
