Grading of records MINT :- Most probably unplayed, gives perfect reproduction. Such a record will have a perfect shiny surface without the slightest blemish or mark on the playing surface. NEAR MINT :- Very close to the above but may have a few spindle marks plus it has probably been played but extremely well looked after. EXCELLENT :- Record may have a few slight surface marks or scuffs, (most should be inaudible) some spindle marks or may have a slightly dull surface. VERY GOOD :- A or some audible marks but the record will be playable and enjoyable. Grading of record covers MINT :- Cover as new no marks or damage whatsoever. NEAR MINT :- Cover nearly as new. EXCELLENT :- Cover may have a little age wear or some blemishes.. VERY GOOD :- Cover may have some minor damage, age wear or discolouring.
