genuine, they are designed and
crafted to be used by Professionals in the field of Japanese Iaido, Kata, and Cutting
Exercises etc these are NOT
immitation swords NOR "Wall-Hanger"
swords.
The Handguard(Tsuba) is handcrafted with Genuine Premium-grade Forge Tempered Iron and the Handle(Tsuka) is professionally hand-cut and crafted from Japanese hard Oak wrapped in Genuine Ray-skin. The blade is hand-crafted and tempered with Premium-grade Japanese 1085 Carbon Steel. The Saya(Sheath) is hand-cut and crafted from Premium-quality Japanese Hard-Oak(hand-polished), the Hamon is differentially hand-tempered using the traditional quenching tempering technique, which gives the Genuine Japanese Hardened Edge. The tang is pegged with two Mekugi pegs for perfect balance distribution and optimum stress tolerance. The katanas sold will be fully functional for Japanese Tameshigiri cutting exercises if hand-sharpening service is requested.Blade Length: 28.5
