 Q: Is the filter located in the lid?
A: Yes, you clean the 'foam' every month or so. There is also a filter in the tank. There is plenty of spare foam as well.

 Q: Could you provide the dimensions of the unit and does the stand come with the tank?
A: Tank dimensions 75w x 55h x 40d with cabinet it is 130h and yes the cabinet is included. There are also 2 lids and glass (for marine fish), one lid is silver the other matches the tank (timber look).
