A very nice block mounted print of a painting by JG Keulemans 'Pied Wagtail".

Johannes Gerardus Keulemans (J. G. Keulemans) (June 8, 1842, Rotterdam - March 29, 1912, Ilford, Essex (now part of London)) was a Dutch bird illustrator.

This print is mounted on multi layers of wood, the different colours can be seen at the sides.  There are two birds in the picture and a branch of ivy in the foreground, the artists signature can be seen in the bottom right corner.  Keulemans was famous for his bird illustrating of English birds and produce many volumes of these.  The print is 12.5 x 17.5cm.  The block mount is 20.5 x 14.5cm.  This is a tiny nick above the print in the brown area.  There is a metal hook on the back for hanging.  Very Nice.
