This is an Interesting Original Framed GOUACHE Painting by Australian Artist, JOHN ADAM, (born 1935-). It is signed lower right, and Dated 1991. This  painting is titled "TWO MATES". It shows the two mates taking a walk across the landscape. It is in Good Condition, and measures 8 inch by 11 inch, (20.3cm x 27.9cm). (Image). The frame is 14 inch by 17 3/4 inch, (35.5cm x 45cm). 

ADAM, John; born 1935, Artist and Teacher, Studied Melbourne Grammar 1949-52,  Swinburne Tech 1953-56. Director of Art at Melb Grammar 1974-92, and held many other teaching positions. Has Exhibited at Toorak Gallery 1964, Victorian Artists Society 1966. Sale Regional Gallery 1971, plus others and Group Exhibitions. Won the Camden Prize at VAS in 1963, Georges Prize 1967. His work is represented in Regional Collections and College Collections around Victoria.
