Condition: 12mo. extremely nice copy in original cloth with papershield on the back. Titleshield bit discoloured and slightly damaged on the side. Name written on first free endpaper with date: Aug: 1833. Unfortunately the map is missing. It was cut out with a knife or so damaging the titlepage and dedicationpage on the innerside. The addpage on the end is missing. Besides that a very nice and clean copy. 

NOTE: The earliest accounts of exploration in the new colony founded by Sir James Stirling, its inaugural ruler and patriarch. The expeditions of discovery relate to such names as Dale, Preston, Erskine, Bannister, Collie, Bussel, etc.
