Angelo Burgoyne Judda was born in 1970 at Cummins in South Australia.
Angelo belongs to the Kokatha tribe located on the Northern Territory and South Australia border.

Angelo has painted the land relating to the Pitjatjatjara lands in the northern west of South Australia. The black oval shapes depict the falling rain whilst the circles depict the water holes and the longer lines in between the water holes are the tracks that have been walked. Aboriginal people follow the rain, as bush tucker becomes abundant, replenishing rock holes and transforming the landscape with wild flowers. The women dig for honey ants after rain when their abdomens are full of nectar.

Angelo prefers to be called and signs his name as Judda which is his skin name.

I met Judda in Alice Springs and he is related to the well known Burgoyne brothers living in Adelaide.

His wife Marie Napurrulla is also an established artist who paints her Grandmother's Journey

Judda has his own specialised way of painting the background colors which gives a perfect two - three different tones
