New Laser Touch Operation

An evolved version of our previous Laser Touch Operation, this system now allows Zooming and Recording using either the Laser Touch or standard zoom lever and REC button. Of course, browsing through indexes and menu selections is easy as ever.

Auto Power ON/OFF & Auto Lens Cover

With Everio, you don't have to use the power switch each time you operate because the power is linked to the LCD's opening and closing. Just open the LCD; the power turns on and the lens cover automatically opens. Just close the LCD to power off and close the lens cover too.

Quick Restart

In combination with Auto Power ON, you're ready to shoot in about 1 second when the LCD is re-opened. Never miss a crucial moment.

35x Optical Zoom

All standard-definition Everio models are equipped with a 35x optical zoom for incredible magnification with full optical quality. Digital zoom takes you up to 800x.

HD Gigabrid Premium Engine

In addition to advanced image processing to optimise picture quality, this chip also helps reduce power consumption by 30% compared to previous Everio models, and enables approx. 2.5x faster creation of DVD/AVCHD DVD discs.

HD Upconvert (selected models)

Certain high-end models in the Standard Definition Everio lineup are equipped with an HDMI™ mini terminal capable of outputting 1920x1080P up-converted video. You can enjoy video playback on an HDTV.*

*TV must be compatible with output formats.

Digest Playback

This function automatically selects highlight scenes from among the recorded content using our proprietary algorithm and plays back what looks like a “coming attractions” trailer for a movie. 60 minutes of footage is condensed into 5 minutes of highlight scene.

Convenient 2-Way Strap

You can use it as either a grip belt or a wrist strap, whichever suits the occasion. When not in use, it fits snugly against the body to minimise storage space.

Built-in Hard Disk Drive

Hard Disk-type Everio models have a built-in high-capacity Hard Disk Drive ranging from 60GB to 120GB (differs by model). In the case of Standard Definition Everio, the 120GB HDD will allow up to 150 hours of recording. There's also a microSD/SDHC Card slot for additional storage and easy data transfer.

This JVC Product is warranted by Hagemeyer Brands Australia Pty Ltd ABN 28 001 375 686 for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and materials.

Any item deemed to have a manufacturing fault and that is within 10 days from date of purchase should be returned for either a replacement to the equivalent value & item, a refund or directed to an authorised service centre for repair. All freight costs associated with sending the item to/from an authorised service centre are at the purchasers' expense.

This warranty is an OPERATIONAL ONLY WARRANTY from the date of purchase covering parts and labour.

Cosmetic damage and flaws are not covered under this warranty.

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE ENTERTAINED FOR CHANGE OF MIND.

To obtain service under this warranty, the product and proof of purchase must be sent or presented to any JVC authorised service centre
