Jaguar XJS-C V12 Cabriolet with TWR kit
Here we have my Jag XJS convertible, the car is rock solid & was restored be a bodyshop owner over 5 years (when he had chance to work on the car), the car is spot on, but there are tiny cracks in the blending of the kit on the body.....these are hardly noticeable unless you look hard....
The Jag has 18” wheels with almost new tyres, all the electrics work.
The XJS was also fited with a new hood, the appertures are solid with no signs of rot or rust crust, the only area where there is bubbling is on the driver’s door mirror fixing point.
The only faults on the car are:
Cracks on the blending
A knock on the suspension
The bonnet rams don’t hold the bonnet up
The driver’s rear seat trim needs re-attaching
.......................& that’s about it
I need to sell this car to fund another car (I need, well want an Audi A6 Tdi, but you know the rules) for work.
All enquiries are more than welcome & you will not be dissapointed
The Jag can be collected from Lymm in Cheshire, oh & it is advertised elesewhere too, so may be sold before the auction ends...........plus the car is in daily use too...
More photos are available upon request......simply ask for them
On 05-Nov-09 at 14:18:00 GMT, seller added the following information:OK folks, I have been asked for more photos of the car, here's a link to some that were taken last week just after it had rained - http://s190.photobucket.com/albums/z175/SS069/Jag%20XJSC%20V12/
There are 50 photos of all angles of the Jaguar - please take a close look before bidding then you can see how good the car really looks. There is minor bubbling around the driver's door wing mirror
If anyone wants or needs any specific photos of the Jag, then please ask.
Hopefully I will take more photos tomorrow with the roof down - here's hoping that it stays dry.
I have also been asked if the car overheats - no, there are no coolant of overheating issues with this V12 - the car gets used regular on both long & short (around town) journeys.........
Also - I have been asked where else the car is advertised, well it's advertised on the 'Classic Cars for Sale' website & within Classic Car Weekly - Classic Car Weekly has been in touch with me & would like to feature the XJS-C within the publication, so whoever wins the car (if it makes it to the end of the auction...!!!) will be provided with the CCW contact number to arrange the feature for themselves.......
Viewing & collection needs to be made from Carrington in Greater Manchester - 5 mins from the Trafford Centre plus 2 mins from the Manchester United & Manchester City footbal clubs training grounds & if you collect during the week you'll definately see someone famous too........10:00(ish) & 14:00(ish)
So, come on - what are you ewaiting for - get bidding & good luck..........
