These are THE ORIGINAL Tabi Socks and are the ONLY ones that are actually MADE IN JAPAN. They are far higher quality than most of the ones you will find on ebay. They are made of a sturdier, higher quality fabric and the toes are hand-sewn. The designs are all patent-protected to prevent cheap knockoffs. They come in various traditional patterns and have the split toe for use with 'Zori' Sandals... or just for padding around the house. The are actually knit socks with the look of traditional 'Tabi' yet are much easier and more practical to wear. They are 'FREE SIZE' and are recommended for foot sizes 25 to 27 cm or a US MEN'S SIZE 7½ to 9. They are made of a very stretchy cotton/synthetic blend however and will go up to a US Men's 10 without problem. Fine for women who require a larger size too. • This pair is standard-height, above the ankle sock in a traditional Japanese design.
