Stretch Tabi

These are new style Japanese stretch tabi.  They are used with kimono, tea ceremonies, kendo, Japanese archery, etc.  They are elastic and do not require any clasps.  The soles are suitable for indoor walking and can be worn with geta, sandals, zori and flip flops outdoors.  This type of tabi is much easier to fit than traditional tabi, which do not stretch.  They can also be used as covers for traditional tabi to stop them getting dirty when worn outside and then take them off inside so the traditional tabi look clean.
