You are bidding on a very nice Jenny Nystrom Gnome God Jul Nisse Tonttu Figurine. 
The item is in very good condition and is made of porcelain.  The item is signed on the top near the back foot of this Christmas "brownie" or Hustomte or Gnome.  The bottom also is signed with "N" with vines around the N.  The item measures 5" high

Jenny Nystrom was born in 1854 and died in 1946 and was an artist from Sweden.  The figure is popular with her postcards and often used in her work.  God Jul or Merry Christmas Tomtar was the Santa of Scandinavia.
