This model is brand new and has never been displayed.The model featured outside the foam box is my own model.You will note the Gibson motorsport decal on the Roof – this has not been affixed to your model but is included if you wish to use it.
The original version of this car, released many years ago sells for over $700.

This model started life as one of the 1008 limited edition Jim Richards, Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, 1992 ATCC championship series car. The model is Brand new and has never been displayed and comes with its original (1992 ATCC) signed COA and information booklet.
Please note this is a CODE 3 Replica and is not being listed as an original Bainte 1992 Bathurst winner.
This model however is a much better cast and finish to the original model. Technology and processes have changed over the years and the quality of the finished product is much better than it was years ago.
This car was surrounded in controversy. It extraordinary pace, its turbo charged engine and it 4 wheel drive technology made the car nick named “Godzilla” basically unbeatable. Adding to all this was the way the 1992 classic ended with numerous top runners including “Godzilla” itself aquaplaning off the track in the extraordinarily wet conditions.
To cap it off Jim Richards and Mark Skaife were booed on the winner’s podium. Uncharacteristically the gentlemen of Australian motor racing, Jim Richards turned to the Crowd and said quote un quote “You’re a pack of arsholes”.
The emotion of the day, compounded with the winner being declared on the lap before “Godzilla” aquaplaned off the track was too much for the Aussie fans to take.
