John Lewis 'Peter Guild' exceptional, VGC sofa chair,

This is a gorgeous traditional armchair, bought at 'John Lewis' Welwyn Garden City. It has been carefully maintained and cared for in a smoke-free environment. The armchair  has been kept clean and free of dust, the arms are very clean due to the thorough use of protectors. The base is hessian, and the chair stands on felt, to protect a wood floor.The chair has never suffered any liquid spills, and it is testament to its build and upholstery quality that it is in VGC, having given good service, it will grace another home equally as well.

The colour is rich, piped with a dusky blue. The underneath and surrounds are in VGC, the pink colour is subtle and would blend with most decor. This armchair was built and made in the workshop of 'Peter Guild' and is of exceptional quality, traditional, & traditionally made chair.

It is also exceptionally comfy & cosy, and is regretfully being sold due to end of marriage and downsizeing. Regret that Postage would be difficult ! suggest buyer collects, or an arrangement can be made.PLEASE NOTE: this is the first of two identical chairs for auction, the other one is also listed on the site.Postage costs are in fact hire of Van costs if both sold (£50 per chair),but because of the nature of my professional work my help would be limited - BUT I am willing to help with carriage of both in some way. I could hire a van within the area of where I live, (A14 corridor), or purchaser hires transport. I will do what I can do in a practical way to help purchaser, but due to work my help is rather limited.
