Gutsy 4-Stroke Engine

The horizontal, 111cc, air cooled four-stroke engine, thanks to its CDI ignition, specialized cam timing and Keihin PB18 carburettor, delivers smooth, responsive low to midrange power for a confidence inspiring ride.

Easy-Shifting Transmission

The engine’s tractable power is delivered via an easy-shifting, semi-automatic three-speed transmission, complete with centrifugal clutch to enable newer riders to gain confidence quickly by focusing on steering and balance instead of clutch coordination.

Racy Looks

The little KLX’s sporty motocross-style looks come courtesy of bodywork borrowed from the competition-bred KX65 – hot!

Capable Chassis

The lightweight chassis uses a backbone tube frame of high-tensile steel tubing and a braced mono-shock swingarm. Up front, the 30mm forks offer plenty of travel and are gripped by a lightweight aluminium upper triple clamp for excellent feedback and control.
